Ending the Year with Joy

Joy, pure and unalterated joy is a rather new feeling to me and I deeply regret that I did not know how to cultivate it many years earlier. The meaning of joy was a secret to me, nothing but a word from books or movies, the meaning of which totally escaped me. I learned to discover joy through an assignment given to me to at a seminar about personal development.  I had to schedule each week an activity that created joy for me. I enjoy creating a flower arrangement, or to teach a seminar, or go on a pilgrimage, but to do something every week just for myself was a totally new concept for me and I was not able to accept it not even as an assignment. This year however, I have discovered joy in a different way, by connecting with Sammy, a beautiful lioness cub only 2 months old in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. Her love, her full trust in me when I was holding her in my arms, her tenderness, and her acceptance taught me that joy is a simple feeling of fulfillment. It all happens when you are in touch with another being.

What I Am Grateful For

As the celebrations have ended I try to stay as much as possible in the state of grace and gratitude brought by Thanksgiving into my life. For years I was afraid of the approaching year end that comes so quickly after Thanksgiving.  I felt that I was not going to be able to accomplish everything on my yearly to-do list.  I must say though, that life has taught me to enjoy and celebrate each small step towards success and all the simple pleasures of life. This year I am grateful for my family, my husband, my mother who celebrated her 77th birthday this year, my dear sister, her husband, my niece and nephew, and all my friends. I am very grateful for my clients, the healing breakthroughs and the miracles that we have created together with the blessed help of the Divine. I am full of gratitude for all the spiritual courses and seminars that I conducted in the US, in Canada and in Europe on many inspiring subjects:  healing the fear, rediscovering the authentic self, creating a year of transformation, creating abundance with the divine, initiating with the Masters of Ascension. I am grateful to all my divine teachers who support my work and to all the people who have opened up to receive my teachings. I recall full of joy my pilgrimage to Greece and all the connections with saints, goddesses and sacred places there. But most of all I am grateful for walking the Camino, and fulfilling the promise I had made to myself and to Saint James that I will return on his Way with a group of pilgrims to reconnect with the healing and the blessings of this wonderful journey. This year I made a new promise: to be back on the Way in 2014 at the latest walking the camino Portugues with another group of pilgrims. For what are you most grateful this year? What are your blessings?

Lessons of El Camino

The lessons of Camino are true pearls of wisdom and gifts for the soul. I still wonder how Saint James and the angels of the road were able to provide such an array of different lessons for each pilgrim.  Each lesson is perfect for the soul and brings relief, soothing, wisdom and increased faith. I remember the lesson of Alice who found herself alone on the path in the woods just to discover a big man walking along and furiously mumbling to himself.  Although very tired, she started running from fear of the man, and reached her destination almost one hour sooner than planned.  She found a bed at the albergue and went out to have dinner. Upon her return she found the same big pilgrim in the bed above her own.  There was a lesson there and she was ashamed to find out that all the other pilgrims at the albergue found Mario, the big man to be funny and original.

El Camino

Dear friends, how could I relay to you the joy of stepping onto El Camino?  That miraculous road which was walked upon by saints, kings and ordinary people and which is unbelievably rich in history and with a very welcoming energy. This energy creates an aura of goodness, friendship and binding support between pilgrims; it holds up your journey and brings that particular lesson that each and everyone of us needs to learn on this sacred road. On the Camino you will meet with Saint James; you meet your true self, and you will uncover the true potential of your inner power.

On The Way

Seven years ago I went to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, traveling the Camino. Although I did not walk The Way as the majority of the pilgrims usually do, I received many messages, visions and teachings from Saint James, the Virgin Mary, angels of the road, and other beings of light. I was asked by them to write the story of my spiritual journey on the ethereal path of Saint James, and although the book is written and will soon be published in the United States, I still marvel at the wisdom and love exuding from these divine encounters. Now, I am preparing to lead a spiritual group on The Way from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela in the beginning of October.   I remember the embracing warm energy of The Path that supported me and I let all my fears and doubts dissolve in its love, and, my heart is singing with joy when I think of actually walking The Way. El Camino awaits me, and I am ready for it too, with all my heart and soul. Come with me and rejoice in the sacred energy of The Way of Saint James!

Pilgrimage: That Sacred Path

Like most of you, I like traveling to different places in our world but what I love most is visiting sacred places. Have you ever entered a place of worship where for no apparent reason you were touched to the heart and you ended up gazing, in tears, at a statue or any other representation of the divine? This happens to me frequently.  The most recent time was in the St. Jacob’s Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela. And, miracles have happened to me in these sacred places. Some eight years ago, I went on a journey to Medugorje, the miraculous pilgrimage destination in Bosnia-Hercegovina, where Virgin Mary appeared two decades ago to a few local children. On my first night there, I felt a gentle wind on my face and I heard a voice whispering softly to me: “Don’t be afraid, we are the angels of the Virgin, and we are here to tell you to be ready, as your mission will start soon”.  I did not know what to make of this message. But soon afterwards, I had a vision of the Divine Mother, who spoke to me asking me to become her messenger and to convey her comforting words and loving energy through my work as a healer, speaker and author.  And this was a miracle, indeed…. That day, in just one day I was transformed in a messenger for the Divine, a healer and a writer. On that hour I was healed at countless levels and I understood and experienced unconditional love – Divine love. Thus, in just one day, in just one hour, in just one minute, I was transformed into a messenger for the divine love and I was healed at countless levels by unconditional love, the Divine love.
